My STORY & PHILOSOPHY

Hello and welcome! I’m Elias, the artist behind “The Savior and I.” My goal with “The Savior and I” is to help create personal connections to the Savior for all of God’s children.

 

Traditionally, I am not a typical artist—my background is in videography and photography, with years of experience working on commercials, documentaries, movies, and more. My work has given me the opportunity to travel the world and witness the diverse beauty of God’s creation.

 

What has stood out to me during my travels is a common perception that Christianity is a Western belief, making it hard for some to relate. This is something I’ve always wanted to address but never had the tools to do so until now.

 

The artwork I create is a collaboration of mediums, blending digital tools with traditional Japanese calligraphy by my wife. Each piece is carefully crafted to convey the spirit and message of Christ while celebrating diverse cultural expressions. By incorporating this mixed-media approach, I hope to inspire people from all backgrounds to feel a personal connection to the Savior.

 

For me, it’s about the message, not the messenger, and I believe the message of Christ is the most important in the world. Your support allows me to continue this mission, bringing inspiration and a deeper connection to the divine to people everywhere.
